I missed the meeting last Thursday so cannot update much. However, from the photos attached, you can see how they enjoyed their fellowship. I understand that Rtn. Aris invited Rotaract Alumni Angela as her guest and PP Ip invited his 2 young lady wine lovers to the meeting. I do look forward to our 70-year-old Club with more younger Rotarians.
As I’ve advised you earlier a Celebration of PDG Dom’s Life will be held this Saturday at 11.15 am at the Zetland Hall, 1 Kennedy Road which is jointly organized by the PDG Council of D-3450 and the Rotarian Lodge of Hong Kong in memory of him, instead of a flower, we will donate through the PDG Council.
PDG Tony Wong’s wife, Winnie’s funeral will be held next Monday, the 22nd at the Hong Kong Funeral Home we have already arranged a wreath and wish her rest in peace.

As we had a successful ball in raising funds for community service and we want to serve our young generation who is our future, we have invited a speaker from the YMCA to share with us how we can help our youth. Please do come to the meeting today to share your opinion also, at the Capri Room 1001 at the Venetian.
Charter Dinner at Fat Siu Lau on 15/6
Our Club was chartered on 16 June 1947. It has now become a custom that we celebrate our Charter at Fat Siu Lau Restaurant where the very first meeting of our Club was held and the first charter board was elected on 11th January 70 years ago. The celebration this year will be held on 15 June 2017, Thursday. Please bring your guests and PP Ip and Rtn. Pedro will bring their wine. Let me know if you will be able to attend by 8 June for seating and food arrangements, the pigeon, the souffle etc… It makes my mouth water just to think of it!!!
BTW, 10 Rotarians will be flying to Vietnam tomorrow under the leadership of P Sam and will be joined by PP Jim and KK from Malaysia and PP David and Helen from Brunei to visit IPP Liz. We look forward to her great hospitality and our fellowship.
