Hope you are all staying warm from this cold spell and let’s pray for better weather during our Portugal Night next Saturday 🙂

Our regular club meeting on Thursday had 18 Rotarians and PP Keith’s guest Ms Yuko. Matsumoto. Yuko is almost a regular guest this rotary year , having joined our meetings ( including Xmas Party) for over 3 times already.

So happy to hear from PP Gary that our dear Australian friend , PDG Barney Koo and his lovely wife Lorraine will be visiting Macau coming week. They will join our Jan 28 ( Thurs) club meeting and speak to us. One main purpose of this Macau visit is to launch his new book ‘ Witness of Macau’ and it’s a biography of our dear PP Gary ! So do come and show our warm welcome to them this Thurs. I am also attaching herewith an invitation from Macau Society of Social Sciences which PP Gary has kindly arranged to attend the Book Launch ceremony on Jan 30 ( Sat ) at 3 pm at Jao Tsung-I Academy. You will be excited to know a complimentary copy of this new book will be distributed during the ceremony. For more details, pls refer to the attached invitation. Hope you can all join and bring your friends to celebrate and congratulate PDG Barney and PP Gary in person.

It will certainly be a program-full Sat on Jan 30 as most of you will be attending the Portugal Night at Consul Residence that evening. PDG Barney and Lorraine will be joining us too.

One more Rotary International news is the Rotary Theme for RY 2016-17 was just announced as ‘ Rotary Serving Humanity’.

Box collection: $650 ( thank you)
