澳門扶輪社在澳門成立及服務社群已經有67年歷史,最近10多年在本地更多關注有特殊需要的兒童,支持他們的教育和服務。今年12月為有特殊需要的人士和家長舉行每年一度的聖誕節慶祝餐會將踏入第15年,招待的人數由最初的300多人增加至800人。在內地廣西山區建校助學更可追溯至1999年澳門回歸前。

今次澳門扶輪社在金沙中國全力贊助下,將於11月8日至12月7日舉行《扶輪慈善貢多拉奪寳大抽獎》活動,屆時推出10,000張幸運抽獎券,以每張澳門幣50元發售,優惠價100元可得3張抽獎券。所得款項扣除獎品後,將撥作慈善用途,資助3間為有特殊需要的兒童服務機構和一個內地扶貧助學計劃,包括協同特殊教育學校、澳門自閉症協會、澳門唐心兒協會和扶輪廣西扶貧助學計劃。

抽獎的形式非常獨特,12月7日晚上7時10,000艘亮著燈的迷你貢多拉船徐徐放進威尼斯人湖畔,用意迎合今年國際扶輪的主題《光耀扶輪》。每艘船都貼上幸運抽獎券號碼,然後在其中抽出43位幸運兒。頭獎可獨得獎金澳門幣38,888元,弍獎28,888元,叄獎18,888元,安慰獎40名可獲名貴獎品總值30,000元。

Light Up Rotary Great Gondola Grab Charity Raffle  
To Light Up Macau Special Needs Community

Rotary Club of Macau, established in 1947, has been servicing communities in needs for over 67 years. In past over 10 years, the Club has devoted special care to local children with special needs in supporting their education and services. Our annual ‘Joy to the World’ Christmas Party for the special needs people and their parents are into its 15th year and the invited participants have increased from 300 to 800.  Since 1999, the Club’s humanitarian services have expanded to China Guangxi Province where primary schools were built at remote mountainous villages and donations given to education scholarships and grants for the middle school students.

Fully sponsored by Sands China Ltd., Rotary Club of Macau will be launching a “Light up Rotary Great Gondola Grab Charity Raffle Draw Promotion” from 8th November to 7th December, 2014.  This charity event will have 10,000 charitable raffle tickets on sale to the public. Each ticket sells at MOP50 with a special promotional offer of MOP100 for 3 tickets. All ticket sales proceeds after deduction of prize money will be used for charity purposes to support 3 local organizations that service children with special needs – Concordia School for Special Education; Macau Autism Association and Macau Down Syndrome Association. Funds raised will also be used to support Guangxi Project for Education and Poverty Alleviation.

This raffle draw promotion has a very unique way of drawing the winners, first in Macau!
On 7th December, 2014 (Sunday) at 7 pm, the Venetian Lagoon will be lit up by 10,000 miniature lit-up gondolas to welcome this year’s Rotary ‘Light Up Rotary’ humanitarian service theme.  Each miniature gondola affixed with raffle draw ticket number will be drawn for 43 winners.  1st Prize (one winner) wins MOP$38,888; 2nd Prize (one winner) wins MOP$28,888; 3rd Prize (one winner) wins MOP$18,888 plus 40 consolation prizes worth over MOP$30,000. Total prize value is in excess of MOP$110,000.
