A group of nearly 20 Rotarians led and guided by PP Guy, toured the Parisian Macao last Thursday before our regular started. We walked from the Venetian to the Parisian, though a bit much for some senior Rotarians, the fantastic night view from the Tower Eiffel worth all the while. Thanks to PP Guy’s arrangement, a very nice singing performance welcomed us at the Place Vendome.
After the tour, we started our meeting right away with a very full program. AG KC Wong gave us some district information before Rtn. Marc gave his talk on Rotary embracing social media. The survey he did was interesting. When he asked who still owned a Nokia phone, to no one’s surprise, PP Fred showed us his. After this talk, it now leaves us to work out the implementation of the app.
Meeting at Sands Macau tomorrow,

As Venetian is again full tomorrow, our meeting will be moved to the Reflection on the 6th Floor of Sands Macau. District Membership Chair PDG Eugene Fong will specially come over from HK to talk to us on Membership Growth and touch on new members orientation.
Halloween night on 27/10 at 4/F, Macau Tower, Cafe 4
We will arrange, same as last year, the dinner to be the World’s Greatest Meal, i.e. we would request a very special price for this dinner and the total fund raised including the dinner fee will be donated to The Rotary Foundation to end Polio. Please bring your families and friends and dress up for this fun filled evening.
Christmas Party on 13/11, Sunday
You may query why our Christmas Party would be held so early and it’s on a Sunday. No way, cos Venetian’s business is so good that the venue which can hold 800 persons is full the whole of December before X’mas and 13/11 is the closest date to X’mas. Anyway, we have invited Santa Claus to arrive earlier for the mentally challenged children and friends. I’m sure you’d enjoy this party with your families and friends. Please reserve the date.
Grannies Tour on 3/12, Saturday
We are now working to arrange an outing for 300 grannies on 3/12. Please reserve the date first. More details will follow.
